Java 10 - Thread-Local Handshakes
This JEP lays the basis for improved VM execution, by making it conceivable to execute a callback on application strings without playing out a worldwide VM safepoint. This would imply that the JVM could stop singular strings and not only all of them.
Thread-neighborhood handshakes will be executed at first on x64 and SPARC. Different stages will fall back to ordinary safepoints. Another item choice, - XX:ThreadLocalHandshakes (default esteem genuine), enables clients to choose typical safepoints on bolstered platforms.
